Happy Monday everyone! Today is fun and games day, but first I must tell you that the treat crisis of yesterday was resolved. I went to Wal-Mart ( on a weekend I NEVER do that) and bought several bags of treats. 
I know you all love bird TV. One of the cheapest birds to feed are hummingbirds. You can get a feeder for less than $5 and make your own mix, there is no need to purchase that red sugar-water. 
For the food,you add 1 cup of sugar to 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil in a pan on the stove or in the microwave. I just heat it in the microwave in my glass measuring cup. Then let it cool before filling your feeder. We don’t completely fill the feeder because it would go bad in the heat before they can finish it. It is important to clean the feeder every time you feed because it will get moldy which wouldn’t be good for the hummingbirds.
Sammy had a great time yachting with Bailey the Boat Cat at Cat Scouts yesterday. His friend, Charles helped him find a great outfit.
